E*Doc DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

     E*Doc is a dynamic Document Management System able to keep track of over 500,000 documents with full revision history.  E*Doc is a Web based application that can be run over a company's intranet or over the World Wide Web.  E*doc has the capability to use up to 70 different fields in it's search capabilities. E*Doc's design makes it scaleable to use either Microsoft Access, SQL Server 7 or Oracle as it's backend database. 
     E*Doc provides Administration interfaces to make configuration changes easy and quick.  Included with the Document Manager is an Automatic Document Numbering function that can be configured to conform to any  new or existing numbering specification you wish.
     E*Doc makes it easy to search for documents and to update the documents in a private user workspaces.  A complete Revision History is maintained for each document.  This functionality can be set up to be used by anyone on site or for users on the other side of the world.
     E*Doc is a totally secure application using WindowsNT security to limit access to secure portions of the program.

  • Any User has the ability to search for and view documents.
    LOGON: None

  • The Cad User has the ability to check out and revise the documents as well as create new ones.
    LOGON:  NAME: "Workgroup/Cad"  PASSWORD: "cad"

  • The Vault User has the ability to approve revised documents and manage the Cad Users's workspace.
    LOGON:  NAME:  "Workgroup/Vault"  PASSWORD: "vault"
  • The Admin User has the ability to change the system configurations and select the fields to use in the system.
